Delete your account
You can delete your Clothby account and its data here, without installing the app. If you do have the app, you can also do it in Settings → Delete account.
Step 1 — confirm it's you
Enter the email address of your Clothby account. We'll send you a one-time confirmation link. This is how we make sure nobody can delete someone else's account.
The email arrives with the subject "Confirm account deletion — Clothby". Opening its link only proves the account is yours and brings you back here — nothing is deleted until you confirm in step 2.

remove your account.
What gets deleted
Everything below is erased immediately and permanently — there is no grace period and no backup we can restore from:
- your account and login credentials;
- your profile, username and avatar;
- your wardrobe items and every photo you uploaded;
- your outfits, posts, comments, likes, follows and stories;
- your usage records (AI requests, swipes) and analytics events tied to you.
What we keep, and why
One thing survives, in anonymised form: affiliate click records. The link to you is removed (the record becomes "someone clicked this link"), but the click itself stays, because it backs commission accounting we are required to keep. It can no longer be connected to you or your email address.
Anything else that must be retained for legal reasons — for example a purchase receipt held by Apple or Google — sits with those companies under their own policies, not with us.
